Standard Acquires Vi-Tech Dyes & Chemicals; Expands Product Range

SEPT. 21, 2007 — Standard Dyes, Inc. announced it has acquired the operations of Vi-Tech Dyes & Chemicals, LLC, a privately-owned wholesaler of products for the color industries. Located in Dalton, Georgia, Vi-Tech markets dyestuffs and specialty chemicals for textiles and other applications.

The combined companies now offer Vi-Tech’s customers a broader range of products with the added benefits of in-house technical service and on-site processing for improved quality control. To ensure uninterrupted service, customers can use the same telephone and fax numbers for placing orders and will be assisted by former Vi-Tech personnel with extensive background in all products.

Standard Dyes has been a key supplier to Vi-Tech and will now market those core products using its trademarked brand bearing the “Perma” prefix. Specialty chemicals will continue to be sold under the Vi-Tech tradename.
